St. Joseph Parish Pastoral Council
The St. Joseph Parish Pastoral Council was first established under the leadership of Father Timothy Kenney. Its goal is to respond to the movement of the Spirit within the parish, to work for a unified mission among its members, and to plan, coordinate and evaluate the pastoral goals of the parish.
The Pastoral Council is consultative and advisory to the Pastor. There are ex-officio, elected and appointed members of Council. At least 50% of the Council membership is to be selected by the parish at-large. The nature of Council calls for free open discussion leading to consensus.
The Council meets regularly every two months: September, November, January, March, May and July. Additional meetings may be called by the Council Chairperson or Pastor, if the need arises.

Stewardship Committee
Our purpose is to build and strengthen our parish community by sharing our God-given talents with others. We are asking parishioners to identify their talents and gifts and consider taking time to share them.
Through your prayers and willingness to become involved, along with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our stewardship program can make a difference in building a stronger faith community.
Please accept this invitation. Let's make stewardship a way of life here at St. Joseph's. To volunteer or to join the Stewardship Committee, please contact Larry Schrader at leshrader@yahoo.com.

Working to alert the parish to resources available or needed is a large part of the committees activities. They take action to meet the needs by involving the parish through activities and information to live out the Gospel message.

Parish Life/Family Life
Mission Statement
We believe that the family is the domestic Church and the basic unit of society.
We commit ourselves to making family life a priority in our lives.
We pledge to use our time and talents celebrating the vocation of marriage and family in our parish.
We will listen to the concerns and needs of families.
We will respond to families using these means:
-like-to-like support and ministires
-written materials
-referral to resources outside the parish.
We will collaborate with our pastor, staff and existing parish ministries in accomplishing our mission.
We build this ministry upon the Church's teaching about family, the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the gifts given to us for service in the parish community of St. Joseph's.
Parish Life/Family Life is chaired by Deacon Steven Gies. To join our committee or for more information, please contact the rectory.
